30 Hours, and 50 Minutes from departure

I hope this to be a long, on going blog of my personal and open adventures of Joining Class XVI of Americorps NCCC Fall 2009. I will be serving a 10 month commitment to serve in communities, to better the lives of others, grow personally, and most importantly, get things done. I have done the best that I can to commit mentally and physically thus far, and wait for the adventure to unfold before me. As I sit typing, less than 2 days away from arriving in Sacramento California, I wait for the journey ahead of me. I wait for the job I am presented, the friends I will make, the lives I can help change, and the obstacles I will face. I wait anxious and excited, and have quite the days ahead of me.
